Abstract
This study aims to analyze the role of the private health sector, represented by private clinics, in supporting and enhancing economic development in the city of Sabha, located in southern Libya. The study adopts a descriptive-analytical approach, utilizing a questionnaire distributed to a sample of 100 respondents across private clinics in the city. The study concludes that while the private health sector plays a growing role in supporting the local economy, its overall contribution to economic development and job creation is still considered weak and requires enhancement. The study recommends selecting strategic locations for clinics, regulating high service costs, providing necessary medical specialties and equipment, and improving employee income levels to raise the quality of health services.
