The Reality of Scientific Research at the University of Tripoli and Its Link to Economic Growth

The study aimed to identify the reality of scientific research at the University of Tripoli, evaluating its impact—alongside technical and financial resources—on economic growth, and proposing a strategic vision to support economic development in Libya. Using a descriptive-analytical approach, data was collected via a questionnaire distributed to faculty members and analyzed using SPSS. Results indicated a statistically significant relationship between scientific research and economic growth, while highlighting challenges such as weak direct linkage to development needs, lack of electronic references, limited research centers, and insufficient funding.
