Abstract
This study aims to examine the relationship between job alienation and job engagement among faculty members in the colleges affiliated with Sabratha University in Zalatan Municipality (College of Education, College of Law, and College of Human Resources). Utilizing a descriptive methodology, data were collected via a questionnaire administered to a random sample of 108 faculty members and analyzed using SPSS. The findings revealed a statistically significant inverse relationship between job alienation (across its dimensions: helplessness, meaninglessness, isolation, pessimism, and rebellion) and job engagement. Furthermore, the study indicated a high level of job alienation and a low level of job engagement among the faculty members surveyed.
