Abstract
The study deals with the biography of the Libyan poet Mahmoud Shoukat Al-Khouja and samples of his poetry, highlighting his upbringing, career, and national and political positions, as well as analyzing several of his poems semantically and prosodically. The study revealed the poet's focus on national and Arab issues, particularly the Palestinian cause, while identifying certain prosodic defects in his poetic meters.
