The Reality of Scientific Research at the University of Tripoli and Its Relationship to Economic Growth

This study aims to identify the reality and strategy of scientific research at the University of Tripoli, measuring its impact alongside technical and material capabilities on economic growth, and offering a framework to support Libya's economic development. The research utilized a descriptive-analytical methodology, distributing questionnaires to faculty members and analyzing data via SPSS. Findings indicate a statistically significant impact of scientific research on economic growth; however, the university faces challenges as research is not directly aligned with industrial, agricultural, and service sector requirements. Major constraints include a scarcity of modern electronic references, a lack of knowledge-disseminating institutions, and a shortage of specialized research centers.
