Abstract
This study aimed to examine the relationship between programs for preparing and inducting individuals for their jobs and the performance appraisal process at the General Postal and Telecommunications Company (El-Harsha Branch). The research adopted a descriptive-analytical methodology, collecting data from a stratified random sample of 40 employees across various managerial levels. Using multiple linear regression via SPSS, the findings revealed no statistically significant relationship between the independent variables (recruitment, orientation prior to employment, and selection and placement) and performance appraisal, indicating a lack of formal orientation programs and scientific procedures within the company.
