The liquidity crisis and role of electronic payment methods for solving it "A field study on the general banks in municipalities of Wadi Al-Shati - Libya"

This study aims to determine the role of electronic payment methods in addressing the liquidity crisis in southern Libya, especially in Wadi al-Shati. The study relied on a descriptive-analytical approach combining theoretical background with a field study using a questionnaire distributed to a sample of 50 employees and customers in general banks. The study found statistically significant differences regarding an acceptable level of electronic payment usage and its contribution to facilitating transactions and alleviating liquidity shortages. It recommended addressing problems such as the shortage and breakdown of automated dispensers.
