Abstract
This research paper highlights the reality of Libyan female media personnel's participation in the media landscape, their relation to media laws and regulations, and their commitment to societal issues and social peace. The author examines the professional performance of female journalists and broadcasters alongside the social, political, and security challenges they encounter, providing a critical review of historical media legislation like the Publications Act No. (76) of 1972 and constitutional declarations post-2011. The study concludes with actionable recommendations, emphasizing the urgent need for a code of journalistic ethics and comprehensive media laws that ensure protection and empowerment for female media professionals in decision-making.
