Abstract
This study aims to measure the impact of the industrial sector on economic growth in Libya during the period (1990–2014). It addresses the role of manufacturing as a key driver of development and income diversification away from oil reliance. The authors utilized Johansen's co-integration approach and unit root tests to assess the long-term relationship between GDP growth rate and explanatory variables. Findings indicate a statistically significant positive relationship between the independent variables and economic growth, recommending political stability and focus on manufacturing and clean energy for sustainable development.
