Abstract
This study aimed to examine the extent to which oil companies implement activities related to clear training strategies and their impact on employee performance in the Libyan oil and gas sector. The study utilized a descriptive analytical approach, targeting managers across 21 oil companies through a questionnaire, with 70 valid responses analyzed. The findings revealed a statistically significant positive relationship between the application of strategic training, diversity of training programs, top management commitment, and the use of modern technology on one hand, and employee performance levels on the other. Additionally, the study identified obstacles such as the lack of a supportive organizational culture and a shortage of highly qualified trainers. The study recommended increasing top management support for clear training strategies, diversifying training methods, and leveraging modern technologies to enhance overall employee performance.
